Congress steps up investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 US election

The US Congress is stepping up its investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and whether the White House was involved – issuing a subpoena to see the full, unredacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report.

Donald Trump’s legal team claim the report completely exonerates the President – but Democrats say it’s now up to Congress to determine any alleged misconduct and what to do next.
