Conservative MP Menzies quits party after misconduct allegations

Mark Menzies has resigned, after an investigation by the Conservative party said he has shown a “pattern of behaviour that falls below the standards expected of MPs”.

It’s the latest scandal to engulf the Tories since the Prime Minister entered Downing street, with a promise to bring “integrity and accountability to government.
