It will be the biggest international summit the UK has ever hosted.
COP26 – the UN’s 26th Climate Change Conference – is due to be held in Glasgow next year.
But senior civil servants involved in organising the event have told Channel 4 News that they are concerned about a possible conflict of interest at its heart.
This programme can reveal that one of the world’s leading management consultancy firms, which regularly advises the fossil fuel industry, is being employed as a consultant by the government department planning the summit.
