Conviction overturned in ‘Serial’ podcast murder case

A judge in the United States has overturned the murder conviction of Adnarn Syed – a Baltimore man made famous through the true crime podcast Serial – which investigated his life sentence for the death of his ex-girlfriend, Hae Min Lee.

It’s one of several true crime podcast cases that have resulted in new legal proceedings.
