There are very few places left under the new tier system where you can socialise with someone else indoors or have a drink without having to buy a Scotch egg.
Along with the Isle of Wight and the Scilly Isles is Cornwall – home to just one percent of England’s population – and the only county on the mainland which is in the lowest Tier one alert.
But despite the obvious relief among residents – many are calling on any tourists from higher tiers to keep to their own, stricter rules if they visit the area.
