People across the UK have been invited to join a volunteering drive as part of the Coronation weekend – described as the Big Help Out.
Senior politicians and some members of the Royal Family will be taking part – while there’s an app to help the public find opportunities in their local community.
But the cost of living crisis – and the changing nature of work – means many people just don’t have the capacity to volunteer.
