The five Britons who’ve tested positive for coronavirus at a ski chalet in the Alps had been nowhere near China. Nor had the man who they got it from.
In a worrying new development – French officials said the four adults and a 9 year old child had been in contact with another British citizen who’d recently returned from Singapore – and was later found to have coronavirus after he had returned to his home in Brighton.
722 people have now died in the virus outbreak in mainland China – with well over 34,000 cases confirmed.
