Coronavirus restrictions reimposed in western Scotland

More than 800,000 people in the west of Scotland have been getting used to new coronavirus restrictions.

People in Glasgow, West Dunbartonshire and East Renfrewshire are no longer able to host visitors from other households – apart from tradespeople – or visit other homes.

But pubs, restaurants and other businesses are still able to operate.

The First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said doing nothing was “not an option”.
