Cost of living crisis: Budget pasta price jumps 50 per cent

The cost of living is hitting supermarket basics.

The Office for National Statistics has released new figures on the price of budget versions of 30 food essentials.

It found the price of pasta has jumped 50% year on year, with other staples like rice and mince also showing double-digit increases.
