Could Sudan conflict lead to full blown civil war?

It’s been three months since war broke out and Sudan’s capital Khartoum is still bombarded by airstrikes and ground battles, as heavy fighting rages between the Sudanese army and the rival Rapid Support Forces.

The paramilitaries have ordered hundreds of people in Khartoum state to leave their homes – declaring some neighbourhoods as military zones.

And with no end to the conflict in sight – the United Nations has warned it could lead to a full blown civil war in Sudan.
