Disillusioned Tory activists – many still upset that Boris Johnson is no longer in charge – have been rallying behind a new group called the Conservative Democratic Organisation.

The former prime minister sent a video message to the opening conference in Bournemouth.

So is this new movement an attempt to re-install Mr Johnson in number ten?
