Couple who fought to change law among UK’s first mixed-sex civil partners

The couple whose legal battle helped changed the law have become one of the first mixed-sex couples in England and Wales to enter a civil partnership.

The partnership was only available to same-sex couples until Rebecca Steinfeld and Charles Keidan took the government to the Supreme Court.
