Covid: Johnson ‘too weak to lead’ UK through pandemic after Tory rebellion, says Starmer

Boris Johnson has rejected calls to change the way he governs the country after last night’s rebellion by Conservative MPs.

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said the revolt by 101 backbenchers showed that the prime minister was too weak to lead the country through this next stage of the pandemic.
