The vice-president of Argentina has narrowly escaped an apparent attempt on her life after a gunman aimed a loaded weapon at her.

Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner was greeting a crowd of supporters outside her home, when the man approached, coming within inches as he pulled out the gun – all captured on video, included in this report.
