The aircraft roared overhead as the crowds cheered down below, as she waved from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Today was all about the Queen – thousands of people packing into the Mall to celebrate her unprecedented 70 year reign.
Neither an animal rights protest, royal rifts or a sudden Covid case in the family could spoil the day.
