Cyclist guilty over woman’s death

News Correspondent

The husband of a woman killed in a collision with a cyclist has called for a change in the law after a jury found Charlie Alliston, who was 18 at the time of the crash, not guilty of manslaughter. Mr Alliston was convicted of a lesser offence of causing bodily harm by furious and wanton driving. He was riding a bike with no front brake, which was not legal to use on the road.
