Dan Wootton suspended by GB News amid Laurence Fox fallout

It has been a day of high drama at TV station GB News.

Last night, actor turned activist Laurence Fox made highly sexist on-air remarks about journalist Ayva Evans. The show’s host Dan Wootton laughed along, and then later apologised.

Next, Laurence Fox was suspended by the station, followed by Wootton.

The regulator OFCOM is now looking into the exchange and the channel has launched an investigation.
