Darien Gap: Why this deadly migrant route is ‘hell on Earth’ (Dubbed)

We travelled the treacherous human trail to the United States called the Darien Gap.

It’s a stretch of dense jungle connecting South America with Central and North America.

The fittest take days to cross, the feeble – weeks – and some do not make it.

Despite a US deal to close it off – record numbers are crossing, and now, an alarming number of children, an eight fold increase, in the first four months of this year.
