4mDavid Carrick: Prolific rapist and ex-Met officer served 36 life terms
The prolific rapist and former Metropolitan Police officer David Carrick has been told he will serve a minimum of thirty years behind bars.
Carrick was sentenced to thirty six life terms for a string of sexual offences which which included two dozen rapes.
During today’s sentencing hearing, the judge stated that Carrick had tried to take his own life while in prison.
