Deadly clashes in Delhi during Trump visit

Delhi has been rocked by violent protests during President Trump’s state visit to India.

Eleven people have been killed in violent clashes between Muslim and Hindu groups – over India’s controversial new citizenship laws, which critics say are anti-Muslim. As demonstrations raged in the north-east of the capital, the American President praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for working “really hard” on religious freedom.
