Deadly earthquake kills more than 126 in Tibet

A powerful earthquake in Tibet has killed at least 126 people and destroyed hundreds of homes.

At least 130 people have been injured by the 7.1 magnitude quake which hit in the early hours of this morning in an area which borders the Himalayas.

Rescuers are desperately trying to reach survivors with temperatures expected to drop to minus 18 degrees at night.
