Debenhams reveals record annual losses

The drawn out death of the High Street has claimed another victim as Debenhams will cut as many as 5000 jobs and 50 stores to concentrate on its most profitable sites.

This after losing nearly half a billion pounds in the year to September. But can even these drastic cuts save it from its online rivals?  Here’s our Economics Correspondent, Helia Ebrahimi.
