Derek Draper: Former lobbyist and Kate Garraway’s husband dies aged 56

Friends and colleagues have been paying tribute to the former lobbyist and Labour political adviser Derek Draper – who has died after suffering from long term complications from Covid.

His wife, Kate Garraway, thanked the medical teams she said fought ‘so hard’ to save him. Former Prime Minister Tony Blair described him as “someone you always wanted on your side”.
