Diego Maradona: Thousands take to streets to pay tribute

Tens of thousands have flooded onto the streets of Buenos Aires today to pay tribute to Diego Maradona, following his death yesterday.

Up to a million people are expected to file past his casket in Argentina’s presidential palace, as the country observes three days of national mourning. But the significance of his death far transcends football.
