Does the world need deep-sea mining for the green tech revolution?

It is one of the least explored places on our planet.

We know more about parts of space than about the deepest depths of our ocean.

But this week the international seabed authority is meeting to decide whether this untouched ecosystem can be mined for the metals we need for the green technologies of our future.

The Natural History Museum has returned from 5,000 metres down in the Pacific, with creatures never seen before.

They gave our reporter Ruben Reuter an exclusive look at the species we could be about to lose.
