Dozens killed in Iraq protests as police open fire

Security forces in Baghdad have opened fire on hundreds of protesters, after a speech by Iraq’s prime minister failed to restore calm. More than 40 have been killed during four days of anti-government demonstrations in the Iraqi capital and across much of the country.
