Dr David Nicholl: ‘If Rees-Mogg wants to repeat that outside of Parliament, I will sue’

Jacob Rees-Mogg has escalated his war of words with a neurologist who warned of fatalities in the event of a No-Deal Brexit.

Dr David Nicholl was involved in the Operation Yellowhammer government report which warned of medicine shortages.

He clashed with Jacob Rees-Mogg on live radio earlier this week when he asked what level of fatalities the Leader of the Commons would be willing to accept in the event of the UK leaving without a deal.

Now Mr Rees Mogg has compared Dr Nicholl  to the disgraced anti-vaccination campaigner Dr Andrew Wakefield – who was struck off for unethical behaviour.
