Drakeford says people in Wales should not travel to parts of north-west England unless absolutely necessary

The First Minister of Wales has said people should not travel from the country to parts of north-west England where there’s been a rise in coronavirus infections, unless absolutely necessary.

Mark Drakeford said the major incident declared in Greater Manchester gave him pause for thought before easing lockdown rules further in Wales today – allowing indoor bars and restaurants to open.
