EHRC restarts investigation into ‘toxic culture’

The Equality and Human Rights Commission was set up to be a beacon of fairness and respect. But back in May, Channel 4 News revealed that the watchdog’s Chair, Baroness Falkner, was being investigated – amid claims of bullying, harassment and discrimination at the organisation.

That investigation, by an independent KC, was put on hold – following the furore surrounding our report. We can now reveal that it’s back on.
