Elderly could face four months of self-isolation as 14 more people die in the UK

So Britain will be ramping up its fight against coronavirus –  emergency legislation will be published on Tuesday while the Health Secretary said everyone over 70 would soon be asked to self isolate at home for up to four months.

Matt Hancock said the measures would “disrupt the ordinary lives of almost everybody” – 35 people have now died in the UK – 14 more than yesterday. There are 1372 positive tests, up from 1140 yesterday.
