Emirates refuses Heathrow’s demand to cut flights, calling the move ‘unreasonable and unacceptable’

A war of words has broken out between the management of Heathrow Airport and Emirates airline after Heathrow said it would cap the number of passengers able to land there.

They asked airlines to stop selling tickets for the summer in a bid to end the disruption experienced by so many passengers in recent weeks, but today Emirates said their demands were simply unacceptable.
