EU offers UK support over Salisbury poisoning

Chief Correspondent

The EU has offered “unqualified” solidarity to the UK over the nerve agent attack in Salisbury. It urged Russia to answer questions raised by the UK about the poisoning of the former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia. At the same time, international chemical weapons inspectors arrived to test samples taken from Salisbury at the government’s secret weapons laboratory at Porton Down.
