Eurovision: Non-binary artist wins for first time

News Correspondent

For the first time the Eurovision Song Contest has been won by a non-binary artist.

Swiss singer Nemo’s opera-hip hop hybrid about coming to terms with their identity proved a hit with the juries and the public.

Croatia and Ukraine were second and third.

#It was a highly-charged night in the Swedish city of Malmo – after a week of protests over Israel being allowed to take part, and the Dutch entry being disqualified at the last minute.
