Evgenia Kara-Murza on her fight for the freedom of her husband – and Russia

One of Vladimir Putin’s most vocal critics since the war in Ukraine had been the Russian political activist Vladimir Kara-Murza, who is also a British citizen.

He was arrested after criticising the invasion and was jailed for 25-years in April, for treason. His wife Evgenia Kara-Murza lives in America with their children and has both carried on her husband’s demands for real democracy in Russia and for his freedom.
