Families want ‘urgent review’ into Nottingham trust maternity scandal

Families at the centre of the Nottingham trust maternity scandal have met Health and Social Care Secretary Sajid Javid, after they wrote to him saying a review that’s already been set up was not fit for purpose.

It has also emerged Mr Javid’s choice of chair for the review has declined to take on the job.

This programme revealed last year that dozens of babies and women have died or been harmed at the trust.
