Family transforms home into factory to make visors for NHS

The lack of personal protective equipment for frontline medical staff continues to be a heartbreaking and critical issue.

Today, the Health Secretary published a plan for PPE saying it would create a “giant” distribution network on an “unprecedented scale”.

But one family in north London has already stepped in to fill the gap: transforming their house into a mini factory making thousands of face visors a week for the NHS.
