Farage launches Reform campaign in Clacton aiming to be ‘voice of opposition’

Nigel Farage, freshly anointed as the new leader of Reform UK, held a rally in Clacton in Essex.

He told the crowd that he believed Labour had already won the election –  but he wanted to be “the voice of opposition” in Parliament.

His decision to put himself at the head of his party has caused consternation amongst Conservative MPs who believe the right-wing vote will now be split.
