Fifth fatal stabbing in six days on London streets

It is the fifth suspected fatal stabbing in London this week. A sixteen year old boy was found collapsed in a south London street last night. Police believe he had been stabbed to death.

If confirmed, the boy’s death would be the one hundred and seventeenth homicide in the capital this year. Yesterday, the Mayor of London warned it could take a generation to turn the tide of violent crime in the city.
