Florida braces for Hurricane Milton impact

Time is running out for people to leave Florida’s Gulf Coast, as Hurricane Milton closes in, bringing life-threatening storm surges with it.

Currently a Category Four, it’s expected to make landfall in the coming hours.

President Biden has warned that leaving is “a matter of life and death”. He also condemned misinformation and lies about the storm by Donald Trump and others as reckless and irresponsible.
