Florida: daily coronavirus deaths hit record levels

It’s been a day of bleak figures across much of the United States, which has reported 65,000 new coronavirus cases, with many hospital ICU departments close to full capacity.

In Florida, more than 130 people died, its worst daily figure so far. Yet the Disney World theme park in Orlando has re-opened to visitors this week.
