Blue Peter’s John Noakes found in Majorca
John Noakes had been reported missing from his home in Majorca in Spain. He presented Blue Peter for more than 12 years in the 1960s and 1970s, and is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

John Noakes has been found in Majorca after disappearing earlier today. His wife Vicky reported the 81-year-old missing at around 8am this morning. Police officers from Andratx and the civil guard searched for him on what is the hottest day of the year so far in Spain.
At the time he went missing he was wearing blue shorts and a blue and white top.
Andratx town hall put two pictures of Mr Noakes on its Facebook page and later posted a message saying “the person who disappeared has been found. He is stable and has been moved to hospital for general checks.”
John Noakes is Blue Peter’s longest serving presenter after he presented the show for 12 years and 6 months in the 1960s and 1970s.
