Former Cabinet Minister Nicky Morgan on Tory defections: ‘I will not be the fourth amigo’

Today a letter from the Tory Brexit Delivery Group said “numerous” MPs are prepared to rebel against the Prime Minister and back an amendment tabled by Yvette Cooper and Oliver Letwin. That would give Parliament the opportunity to delay Brexit and prevent no-deal, if there’s no agreement with the EU by mid-march.
There’s trouble too for the Conservative Party after losing three MPs this week. Today a letter from the Tory Brexit Delivery Group said “numerous” MPs are prepared to rebel against the Prime Minister and back an amendment tabled by Yvette Cooper and Oliver Letwin.
That would give Parliament the opportunity to delay Brexit and prevent no-deal, if there’s no agreement with the EU by mid-march.
We spoke to Nicky Morgan, who supports the group, and began by asking about reports that up to 100 conservative MPs are ready to delay Brexit.
