Former Scottish sub-postmaster has conviction quashed after two decade battle to clear his name

Two weeks ago, we spoke to a Scottish sub-postmaster who considered taking his own life after being wrongly convicted in the Post Office scandal.

Today after fighting to clear his name for almost two decades, Rab Thomson found out that his conviction has been overturned. He’s been celebrating in his home town of Alva.
