Former Thomas Cook boss grilled by MPs

“You must right the wrong… and put something back”.

That’s what the former boss of Thomas Cook was told today by MPs.

Peter Fankhauser said he was “deeply sorry” for the distress caused by the collapse of the travel company.

But he claimed Thomas Cook could have been saved if the government had stepped in.
