Now as amateur cricket resumes at local clubs and on village greens – the professional game is back on too – with the West Indies currently touring England. But like the rest of society – the impact of the Black Lives Matter movement is forcing the sport to confront its own past.

We’ve been down to Shepherds Bush Cricket Club in West London – where four veteran players reminisce about cricketing glory, address the racism they encountered and reflect on what the future might hold for their beloved sport.
