FTSE 100 suffers biggest one-day fall since 1987

Stock markets across the world went into meltdown today in the wake of Donald Trump’s announcement that travel to the US from 26 European countries is to be suspended. In the UK, the FTSE 100 index lost more than 10 per cent of its value.
