‘G7 is important opportunity to address China’s increased aggression’ says former assistant to Donald Trump

The G7 leaders have been discussing China as part of a wider pushback against Beijing over human rights, Taiwan and the origins of the Covid pandemic.

We spoke to Lisa Curtis, who was US National Security Council senior director for south and central Asia under Donald Trump and Noah Barkin, who founded the Watching China in Europe newsletter and podcast.
