In Liverpool Sir Keir Starmer told the Labour Conference that he was shocked and appalled by ‘the cold blooded murder of men, women and children, including British citizens by the terrorists of Hamas.’
On domestic policy Sir Keir Starmer pledged a ‘decade of national renewal’, and an end to what he called the ‘stranglehold of Tory decline’.
He said a Labour government would ‘bulldoze’ planning rules to build 1.5 million new homes.
And he dismissed a protestor throwing glitter at the start by saying Labour was now a ‘party of power not protest’.
