The Royal Air Force and Save the Children have pulled their adverts from Google’s search partner network, this programme has discovered – after their ads were among those found across sanctioned and adult websites. Several other major companies have also launched investigations.
Google’s network is supposed to give companies a wider reach for their adverts – but firms have little or no control over where they appear.
