Government announces Christmas Covid rules

Family Christmas dinners are back on the menu tonight after the government announced a relaxation of coronavirus restrictions over the festive period. Up to three households will be allowed to meet indoors for five days and, crucially for some, travelling between the four nations will be allowed.
